Even Experienced home buyers sometimes make rookie mistakes. They assume that just because a home has passed all local codes and ordinances, it must be in good shape. Don't be so sure. Our home inspectors find just as many issues with new construction as they do older homes. City inspections are done in stages. Foundation, Framing, Plumbing Rough-in Etc... Although it is not normally the case, city inspectors can miss thing from time to time. More often the builder runs into fitment issues as the project progresses which forces them to change things. This is where the problems come into play. Also as homes are being built faster and faster sometimes the subcontractors are just under such tight deadlines to finish their portion they either overlook items, or perform sloppy work. Don't let a couple hundred dollars deter you from getting an inspection.
Think a home inspection is expensive?
If you have just one of these issues and we catch it in time,
your inspection just payed for itself!
